Method
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water.
- Sauté garlic in olive oil until fragrant.
- Add tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Simmer 10–15 minutes.
- Lower heat and stir in cream.
- Add pasta and toss, adding pasta water as needed.
- Finish with parmesan, butter, and basil.

- Simmer tomatoes fully for best flavor.
- Use pasta water to adjust sauce texture.
- Don’t overcook pasta before adding to sauce.
- Taste and adjust seasoning at the end.
